Avoid Name-Only Definitions
Fairy terminology is international and historically layered. The same casual label may be used differently across communities, while a familiar name can conceal version-specific details. A self-contained publication should define the mechanics it relies on and cite the rule source when ambiguity matters.
Fairy Conditions Can Change the Meaning of Check and Mate
